In Collection: Tables and Desks
A mid 19th century English three tier table with drawers also known as a “what not”. This is decorated with a veneer (thin strips of wood) of floral decorations in sycamore and tulip wood. A “what not” comes in all woods and were very popular in Queen Victoria’s reign (1837- 1901). It was used to hold porcelain and beautiful objects in a drawing room.
